We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Testing Technician to join our team at Laboratory Testing Inc. in Hatfield, PA. As a Mechanical Testing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our mechanical testing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of mechanical tests on material samples, including tensile, elevated tensile, stress rupture, hardness, and charpy tests.
- Set up and operate testing equipment, ensuring that it is functioning properly and in calibration.
- Analyze and document test results, consulting with supervisors as necessary.
- Monitor and maintain test schedules, ensuring that established deadlines are met.
- Input data into our LabMan system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with maintaining test equipment, including cleaning, preventive maintenance, and repair.
- Understand and comply with our Quality Assurance Program at all times.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations, utilizing personal protective equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- No prior experience required, but six months to one year of related experience and/or training is desired.
- Computer skills required, including LabMan System, Enterprise Resource Planning System, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.
