Avionics Systems Engineer

At SpaceX, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As an Avionics Systems Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and testing the electrical systems that power our spacecraft.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop avionics systems, including computing, power, instrumentation, and radio frequency (RF) communications
- Develop and execute avionics system testing on flight hardware to validate system performance and identify issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate avionics systems with other spacecraft components
- Support mission operations by providing real-time input during flight and monitoring system performance
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or physics
- 1+ years of experience with electrical component design, system level integration, or system level testing
- Proficiency in software such as Python, C++, and/or Matlab
- Hands-on experience with sizing, installing, and troubleshooting electronic components
- Experience with wire harness design and build, including associated sub-components
- Experience with NX or similar CAD software
