Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Consultant to join our team in the Neurology department. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting Nihon Kohden's Neuro-diagnostics and monitoring products to Neurologists, Neurology Technicians, and IT professionals across our assigned territory.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual quota in Neuro-diagnostics and monitoring products by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration, and complete territory coverage.
  • Develop, implement, and update quarterly business plans to support attainment of quota, market share growth, and other company objectives.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge on Nihon Kohden and competitive products to effectively communicate value to customers.
  • Promote Nihon Kohden as the technology leader and vendor of choice through regular product presentations, evaluations, customer training, and sales calls.
  • Represent Nihon Kohden at Professional Trade Shows and attend Regional Sales meetings to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Participate in Strategic Selling and develop consultative sales relationships with key-buying influences in each account.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, or related discipline; relevant education and experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in hospital sales, with multiple call points; capital equipment sales experience, ideally in the field of neurology or PSG.
  • Consultative of conceptual sales and negotiating experiences.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $90,000 base salary.
  • Quarterly MBOs.
  • Variable Incentive via Commissions earned above the value of earned MBOs.
