Public Health Nurse Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Nurse Supervisor to join our team at the Virginia Department of Health. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical epidemiological program, operations management, and supervision of public health team members.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train registered nurses in public health nursing and population health
- Manage grants and case management programs
- Develop and implement care plans, including medication administration and case management
- Perform nursing assessments and lab tests
- Provide direct nursing care in clinics, homes, and schools
- Knowledge of public health nursing and population health principles
- Experience in public health setting and grant management
