About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Kohler. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new manufacturing processes and technologies to improve capability and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development: Develop and refine new and existing manufacturing processes/technology to improve capability and opportunities.
  • Project Management: Run projects from inception to completion, presenting regular updates to management and peers.
  • Capacity Modeling: Develop and implement capacity modeling, statistical process control, and new manufacturing processes critical to business strategy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion continuous improvement and cost reduction efforts to constantly improve the process and lower costs.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and monitor processes in the manufacturing process.
  • Capacity Evaluation: Evaluate capacity requirements to ensure production capability of manufacturing new products and/or volume changes to current products.
  • New Product Introduction: Coordinate introductions of new products into production, establishing production routings for all new products.
  • Production Monitoring: Monitor production results and work closely with operators, process leads, team leads, and supervisors to ensure production problems are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate and interact effectively, both oral and written, with manufacturing personnel and supervision, business management, customers and vendors as part of a team-based organization.
  • Technology Advancements: Monitor new technology advancements and the possible application within the manufacturing process.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, or a combination of equivalent training, education, and experience would be acceptable.
  • Experience: Experience in manufacturing/production setting is a benefit.
  • Physical Ability: Physical ability to perform a variety of tasks that include frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending, and lifting in a production factory environment.
  • Safety Requirements: Ability to follow all safety requirements and support safety culture within the plant.
