Key Responsibilities- Lead engineering planning, studies, and design efforts for wastewater treatment facilities, including conventional unit processes, biological nutrient removal, and tertiary filtration.
- Provide technical guidance to municipalities on wastewater planning and design, and oversee the work of engineers and technical staff based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, client service managers, and other project personnel from various disciplines to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare and present technical information to municipalities and professional meetings, and assist with business development pursuits.
- Assist with client service management and connect BC solutions to clients in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
- Develop and mentor high-potential team members to create a healthy career progression and sustainable project support structure for our clients.
- BS Degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or related field) required.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional work experience with municipal wastewater project management or design management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of professionals.
- Effective facilitation of team coordination meetings, both internally and with clients.
- High degree of emotional intelligence, with self-awareness, self-control, social awareness, and relationship management.
- Municipal project experience preferred, but other multi-discipline project experience, such as industrial water/wastewater, will also be considered.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Oregon and Washington, or ability to obtain registration within 6 months of hire.
