Role Summary – Bill Jacobs MINI Apprentice Technician

We are thrilled to introduce an opportunity for an Apprentice Technician at Bill Jacobs MINI. This role offers a distinctive chance to engage with one of the most renowned automotive brands globally.

Guided by our master-certified BMW shop foremen, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of BMW vehicles, adhering to the highest manufacturer standards.

Moreover, you will receive comprehensive training to deliver mobile repair and maintenance services to our esteemed clientele. The ideal candidate should possess a strong enthusiasm for executing tasks with precision and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include conducting vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, recall work, and installations, in line with your experience and certifications, ensuring compliance with dealership and manufacturer specifications. Automotive services will encompass engine, transmission, electrical systems, drivability, suspensions, alignments, steering, heating and air conditioning, basic and ABS brakes, exhaust systems, and more.

Compensation Structure

Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $31.00, contingent upon experience.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of automotive experience.
  • Encouragement for BMW FastTrack and BMW STEP students and graduates to apply.
  • Experience with BMW and/or MINI is advantageous; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurability standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BMW or other German brands is preferred.
  • Strong communication, computer, and customer service skills.
  • Dependable with a solid work ethic and problem-solving abilities.
