Position Summary – Bill Jacobs Volkswagen Automotive Service Consultant

We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Service Consultant within our organization. The primary responsibility of the Service Consultant is to provide expert recommendations for vehicle maintenance to our esteemed clientele, while articulating the importance of regular upkeep for peak vehicle performance. Successful candidates will be proactive problem solvers who excel in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming customers and addressing their vehicle repair and maintenance inquiries.
  • Guiding the customer's vehicle to a qualified technician and collaborating with the technician regarding necessary repairs/services.
  • Notifying customers of any updates in service or when their vehicle is ready for collection.
  • Maintaining communication with the customer regarding the status of their vehicle from start to finish.
  • Responding to customer inquiries about vehicle service and relevant warranty coverage.
  • Advising customers and formulating a maintenance plan tailored to their vehicle's short-term and long-term needs.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the entire customer journey.
