Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed multipoint inspections of vehicles.
  • Execute tasks outlined in maintenance and repair orders efficiently, adhering to dealership and General Motors standards.
  • Perform routine services including lube, oil, and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs.
  • Manage tire rotations and engage in repairing, mounting, and balancing tires.
  • Communicate service recommendations clearly and understandably to service advisors and customers.
  • Engage in continuous learning of new technical information and skills through training sessions to enhance career development and keep pace with evolving technology.
  • Utilize power tools, machine tools, and standard hand tools to complete various automotive tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Fundamental computer skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Experience with automatic vehicles is beneficial.
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications are not mandatory.
  • Commitment to maintaining current factory training.
  • Team-oriented mindset, adaptable, and dedicated to delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
