Metal Additive Manufacturing Sales Leader Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced sales leader to join our team as a Sales Manager, Firearms at Desktop Metal. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth in the firearms industry through the sale of our metal additive manufacturing solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B capital equipment sales, with experience in the medical industry and a deep understanding of the firearms sector. You will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy tailored to the sector, targeting key decision-makers and building relationships with senior executives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing a sales strategy tailored to the firearms sector.
  • Gathering market insights and customer feedback to identify emerging business opportunities within the industry.
  • Serving as the main voice of customer for Desktop Metal, facilitating internal processes to support customers and providing feedback to marketing and product management.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of prior experience in B2B capital equipment sales with an ASP of $500k to $2M in the medical industry.
  • Proven success at C-Level Sales and financial value selling, winning new customers and exceeding quarterly sales targets.
  • Additive manufacturing industry experience a plus, along with strong technical skills to facilitate conversations.
  • Candidate must be goal-oriented, a self-starter, and willing to travel up to 75% of the time.

Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
