Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling reservations, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcome, use a positive and clear speaking voice, and respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Complete the registration process, input and retrieve information from our computer system, and make accurate selections of rooms based on guest needs.
  • Payment and Accounting: Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash, make change, and balance an assigned house bank.
  • Communication: Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear communication, input messages into the computer, and retrieve messages and communicate the content to the guest.
  • Problem-Solving: Field guest complaints, conduct thorough research to develop effective solutions, and negotiate results.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other hotel staff to ensure a positive guest experience.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, and college degree preferred.
  • Experience: Hotel experience preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, ability to stand and move throughout the front office, and ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
