Job Title: Front Desk Agent

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Fairmont Pittsburgh. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a critical role in ensuring their stay with us is exceptional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests warmly and efficiently, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
  • Manage guest room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process payments and handle guest accounts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with support departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Upsell and cross-promote hotel services and amenities to drive revenue.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Front Office operations in a luxury setting is an asset.
  • Operational knowledge and proficiency in Front Office Systems-Micros-Fidelio and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong guest service orientation, utilizing empathy and creative thinking.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to work as part of a large, diverse team.
