Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Enterprise Development Representative to join our sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition and growth in the Enterprise Division. This is a 12-18 month program designed to fast-track entry-level sales professionals into world-class Mid-Market Account Executives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hit daily expectations of 100 cold-calls and 12 daily LinkedIn Sales Navigator Messages sent
  • Generate 10 qualified meetings per month
  • Work closely with assigned Enterprise Account Executives to provide accurate lead distribution and thorough discovery, generating sales-ready meetings and opportunities by positioning the value of Verkada
  • Prospect, qualify, follow up, and educate a high volume of cold leads
  • Understand and uncover prospects' needs and business problems to effectively communicate how Verkada can solve them
  • Use Verkada's tech stack and sales enablement tools according to Verkada standards, providing metrics on leads
  • Achieve quota to ensure territory revenue and growth objectives
  • Establish connections with potential customers within the technical realm and collaborate with colleagues across different functions
  • Collaborate in a dynamic team environment, adapt to changes, and create high-quality opportunities and revenue growth
  • Understand sales cycles and required qualification criteria
  • Have the ability to grasp complex business environments, figure out what bugs customers, sort out process hiccups, and turn needs into new business opportunities
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of professional experience (any industry, sales preferred)
  • Proven success meeting and exceeding in current and previous roles
  • A bachelor's degree from a recognized university (highly preferred)
  • Thrive working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with a strong sense of urgency
  • The determination to work harder than anyone you know
  • The willingness to cold-call and the ability to overcome rejection
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for great customer service
  • Intellectually curious, high IQ, EQ, and self-awareness
  • Competitive with a strong need for achievement
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with peers, prospects, and customers
  • Salesforce and Outreach experience (preferred)

Pay Disclosure

At Verkada, we want to attract and retain the best employees and compensate them fairly. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. This estimate can vary based on the factors described above, so the actual starting annual base salary may be above or below this range. This estimate is also just one component of Verkada's total rewards package. A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Estimated Annual Pay Range: $45,000-$65,000 USD
