Strategic Account Representative - K-12 Education Focus

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Representative to join our team at School Specialty. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with strategic accounts in the K-12 education sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales objectives for strategic accounts
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Account Manager to identify new business opportunities and grow existing relationships
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to execute strategy and increase market penetration
  • Optimize knowledge of School Specialty's offerings and understand the financial impact of sales decisions
  • Build and foster collaboration within the team selling environment to drive sales
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience in the K-12 education sector
  • Strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales objectives
  • Reside within the Greater Portland Oregon area
What We Offer

At School Specialty, we offer a competitive salary range of $67K-$90K, with the opportunity to earn a quarterly bonus commission. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, as well as a 401(k) plan.
