We are seeking an experienced Associate Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Ascend Software. As a key member of our customer success team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, fostering strong relationships with our clients, and driving growth and retention.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a select group of customers to maintain, grow, and retain a portfolio of accounts
- Assist other Strategic Account Managers in maintaining GRR and driving growth
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify best practices for product adoption and automation
- Lead customers to understand Ascend's solutions and identify opportunities for process automation
- Manage the commercial relationship, including pricing strategy, renewal planning, and expansion opportunities
- 4+ years of experience with accounting teams and terms
- 5+ years of experience in Account Management or Customer Success, preferably in a SaaS company focused on B2B enterprise and mid-sized customers
- Demonstrated proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, ChurnZero, Gainsight, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Natural curiosity and passion for customer success
