About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Ascend Software. As a key member of our customer success team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, fostering strong relationships with our clients, and driving growth and retention.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a select group of customers to maintain, grow, and retain a portfolio of accounts
  • Assist other Strategic Account Managers in maintaining GRR and driving growth
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify best practices for product adoption and automation
  • Lead customers to understand Ascend's solutions and identify opportunities for process automation
  • Manage the commercial relationship, including pricing strategy, renewal planning, and expansion opportunities
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience with accounting teams and terms
  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management or Customer Success, preferably in a SaaS company focused on B2B enterprise and mid-sized customers
  • Demonstrated proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, ChurnZero, Gainsight, or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Natural curiosity and passion for customer success
