Position Overview

We are in search of a qualified Natural Gas Scheduler to become part of our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

As a Natural Gas Scheduler, your responsibilities will include:

  • Estimating daily production sales volumes while monitoring various production, transportation, and well-head discrepancies
  • Executing gas scheduling tasks to ensure accurate and timely nominations for plants and pipelines
  • Utilizing multiple Electronic Bulletin Board systems for daily nominations and monitoring pipeline notices for maintenance and operational updates
  • Identifying and resolving volumetric discrepancies and pipeline interruptions
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with traders, contract administrators, essential field personnel, midstream contacts, and downstream pipeline representatives
  • Acting as a liaison with volume accounting for the reconciliation of pipeline statements and invoices
  • Developing and maintaining scheduling spreadsheets to track nominations and discrepancies, aiding in the optimization of daily gas flows and sales
  • Comprehending and retaining key commercial contract terms relevant to your scheduling area
  • Training with fellow schedulers to provide backup support during absences
Qualifications

We seek candidates who are self-driven and focused on achieving business outcomes through collaboration within a diverse global team.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience; 5+ years is preferred
  • Familiarity with the Allegro ETRM system is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented approach
  • Strong analytical skills and creativity in problem-solving
  • Knowledge of pertinent industry regulations
  • Comprehensive understanding of intrastate, interstate, and gathering nomination/sales processes
  • Willingness to assume 24x7 responsibility for the scheduling area, with weekend coverage on a rotating basis
