Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled Natural Gas Scheduler to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Natural Gas Scheduler, your responsibilities will include:

  • Estimating daily production sales volumes while monitoring multiple production, transportation, and well-head discrepancies.
  • Executing gas scheduling tasks to ensure accurate and timely nominations for plants and pipelines.
  • Utilizing various Electronic Bulletin Board systems to submit daily nominations and oversee pipeline notices for maintenance and operational updates.
  • Identifying and resolving volumetric discrepancies and pipeline interruptions.
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with traders, contract administrators, essential field personnel, midstream contacts, and downstream pipeline representatives.
  • Acting as a liaison with volume accounting for pipeline statement and invoice reconciliation.
  • Developing and maintaining scheduling spreadsheets to track nominations and discrepancies, aiding in the optimization of daily gas flows and sales.
  • Understanding and retaining key commercial contract terms relevant to your scheduling area.
  • Training with fellow schedulers to provide backup support when necessary.
Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience is required; 5+ years is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Allegro ETRM system is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented approach.
  • Strong analytical skills and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of intrastate, interstate, and gathering nomination/sales processes.
  • Availability for 24x7 scheduling responsibilities, with weekend coverage on a rotating basis.
