Position Overview

We are in search of a knowledgeable Natural Gas Scheduler to become a vital part of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

As a Natural Gas Scheduler, your responsibilities will include:

  • Estimating daily production sales volumes while monitoring various production, transportation, and well-head discrepancies
  • Executing gas scheduling tasks to ensure precise and timely nominations for plants and pipelines
  • Utilizing multiple Electronic Bulletin Board systems for daily nominations and monitoring pipeline updates regarding maintenance and operational notices
  • Identifying and resolving volumetric discrepancies and pipeline interruptions
  • Building and nurturing relationships with traders, contract administrators, essential field personnel, midstream contacts, and downstream pipeline representatives
  • Serving as a liaison with volume accounting for the reconciliation of pipeline statements and invoices
  • Creating and maintaining scheduling spreadsheets to track nominations and discrepancies, aiding in the optimization of daily gas flows and sales
  • Comprehending and retaining key commercial contract terms relevant to your scheduling area
  • Training with fellow schedulers to provide backup support when needed
Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience; 5+ years is preferred
  • Familiarity with the Allegro ETRM system is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical skills and creativity in problem-solving
  • Knowledge of pertinent industry regulations
  • Comprehensive understanding of intrastate, interstate, and gathering nomination/sales processes
  • Willingness to take on 24/7 scheduling responsibilities, with weekend coverage as needed
