Job Overview

Clearwaters.IT is in search of a Cybersecurity Engineer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the architecture, development, and integration of Military OneSource systems across various computing and network environments. This role is crucial in ensuring adherence to Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance (IA) standards.

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the security and functionality of both developmental and operational systems, including program of record systems and specialized processing nodes with IT interconnectivity. Key responsibilities encompass:

  • Evaluating Security Requirements: Assess business strategies and requirements, conduct system security analyses, and identify integration challenges.
  • Implementing Security Solutions: Specify intrusion detection methods, oversee equipment installation, and maintain security documentation.
  • Verifying System Integrity: Develop and execute test scripts to ensure the robustness of security systems.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Uphold DoD and federal cybersecurity policies and assist in the formulation of updated cybersecurity protocols.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret clearance are mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of DoD cybersecurity tools and AWS cloud security technologies.
