Compensation Package

The total compensation package includes a competitive hourly wage and attractive benefits, including paid sick time, employee assistance program, and product purchase program.

The estimated salary for this position is $16.50 - 17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

As a Seafood Processor, you will be responsible for properly processing various species of seafood, ensuring maximum use and yield of product. Key responsibilities include:

  • Product Preparation: Place product in containers or on conveyers, run tips through tip machine and collect the meat, weigh and clean product, and place product in proper packaging as instructed.
  • Quality Control: Adhere to all sanitation and product quality policies, communicate quality issues to supervisors and leads, and maintain plant safety at all times.

In addition to the above responsibilities, you may also perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Physical Demands: Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

You should bring prior experience with food processing equipment, food safety experience, and experience in a processing environment. A minimum age requirement of 18 years old applies.
