ABOUT THE ROLE

A Fashion Sales Consultant is dedicated to exceptional operations and delivering an outstanding guest experience, bringing the essence of style to life through engaging in-store displays that facilitate easy self-discovery.

Fashion Sales Consultants are approachable and attentive, ready to assist guests on the sales floor and in fitting rooms.

They ensure the sales floor is well-stocked with the right products, accurately priced, and properly signed, featuring the correct sizes, styles, and colors.

Responsibilities typically include:
1. Creating a welcoming atmosphere by genuinely greeting all guests.
2. Observing guest behavior to determine if assistance is needed, tailoring interactions based on non-verbal and verbal cues.

3. Utilizing store tools to gain insights into key metrics, sales objectives, inventory levels, and guest traffic patterns.

4. Maintaining product availability by keeping the sales floor organized and replenished, ensuring a guest-ready shopping experience.

5. Staying updated on trends and brand guidelines to create an inviting shopping environment while executing visual merchandising standards.

6. Managing fitting rooms to welcome and inspire guests, providing personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.

7. Being knowledgeable about store tools, products, and services to effectively address guest inquiries and enhance their experience.

8. Balancing task completion with guest interaction, ensuring minimal disruption to the shopping experience.

9. Supporting product assortment changes and maintaining an inspiring space for guests throughout the year.

10. Taking ownership of assigned areas to ensure the sales floor is organized, stocked, and accurately signed for guests.

11. Executing pricing updates and planograms for designated categories.
12. Conducting inventory accuracy checks and managing backroom organization.
13. Prioritizing guest engagement while managing workload.

14. Utilizing tools like myCheckout or the Target App to assist guests with unavailable in-store selections.

15. Thanking guests sincerely and encouraging them to return for future assistance.
16. Upholding a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance in all activities.

17. Working safely to protect yourself and others, identifying and addressing hazards, and adhering to safety policies.

18. Supporting guest services such as cashier duties and order pickups while maintaining compliance with relevant laws.

Other responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs.

1. Accurate handling of cash register operations.
2. Ability to climb ladders.

3. Efficiently scanning, handling, and moving merchandise, including lifting items up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally.

4. Flexibility in work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, along with regular attendance.
