Position: Governance Risk and Compliance Consultant

Role: Principal Consultant

About the Role

The Principal Consultant position is part of the Infosys Consulting team within the Financial Services sector. This role involves collaborating with senior stakeholders in both business and technology to shape and implement strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee projects at Financial Services organizations, addressing critical challenges related to Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) as well as control measures.
  2. Manage GRC initiatives, including but not limited to Policy Management, Risk Assessment, Compliance, Incident Management, Vendor Oversight, Threat Analysis, Business Continuity Planning, Audit Processes, and Security Operations.
  3. Guide client teams in delivering comprehensive solutions across multiple platforms, including RSA Archer and MetricStream.
  4. Engage with business and technology leaders to outline technology strategies, develop project plans, establish business requirements, analyze data needs, and influence quality assurance strategies.
  5. Provide mentorship and leadership to junior consultants within the project team.
  6. Work collaboratively with various streams, including technology delivery, to present a strong value proposition to clients.
  7. Identify and mitigate engagement risks by proactively addressing potential issues and recommending solutions.
  8. Foster client relationships to enhance the presence of Infosys within client organizations.

Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  2. Over 10 years of experience in the Financial Services sector, with a minimum of 5 years focused on GRC or operational risk assessments.
  3. Experience in a consulting environment is essential.
  4. Familiarity with operational risk frameworks such as RCSA is advantageous.
  5. Strong presentation and interviewing capabilities, with a proven track record of facilitating meetings and leading workshops.
  6. Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to produce Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and create impactful presentations.
