Job Overview

Position Title: Senior Manager, Consulting

Role Summary:

This pivotal leadership role within the Consulting division at Advatix (a GCG company) is focused on driving profitable and rapid growth in our Consulting Services. These services encompass comprehensive supply chain strategies through to execution, including practical implementation capabilities. A key differentiator for us is our ability to integrate management consulting insights with essential operational expertise, facilitating the execution of strategies that yield measurable value from concept to cash. The Senior Manager, Consulting will report directly to the Vice-President of Strategy & Analytics.

Core Responsibilities:

Domain & Consulting Expertise:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives in the realms of Business Transformation and Supply Chain.
  • Conduct thorough analyses to uncover challenges and opportunities.
  • Lead complex evaluations to formulate recommendations addressing client issues.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of these recommendations to clients.
  • Exhibit outstanding communication capabilities.

Program Management:

  • Oversee engagements: establish, monitor, and manage ongoing and future projects.
  • Foster and develop client relationships throughout engagements to promote future business opportunities.
  • Provide regular executive updates on project statuses, challenges, and resolutions.

Business Development:

  • Collaborate with sales teams and leverage professional networks to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline, guiding the sales cycle to closure.
  • Conduct assessments to define and create proposals (SOWs or RFP responses).
  • Support the sale of services across the GCG portfolio of companies (Advatix, XPDEL, and Archway).

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Enhance customer satisfaction levels.
  • Manage escalations and resolve critical issues effectively.
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of deliverables that meet or exceed client expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a consulting firm working with Fortune 500 and mid-market companies.
  • 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Business Transformation.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% (typically 30-50%).
