Facilities Technician

The Facilities Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of Williams County's buildings, facilities, and outdoor areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing thorough cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, ensuring supplies are replenished
  • Executing floor maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing
  • Managing waste disposal by emptying and cleaning receptacles, as well as maintaining breakroom areas
  • Carrying out general maintenance duties such as painting, replacing light fixtures, and rearranging furniture
  • Overseeing the upkeep of public grounds, which includes lawn maintenance and snow removal
  • Identifying and reporting safety issues to the supervisor
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive records
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in maintenance or custodial services
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening
Work Environment:
  • Outdoor responsibilities with potential exposure to extreme weather conditions
  • Working in proximity to mechanical, industrial, and electrical systems
  • Exposure to various chemicals, sewage, and dust
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Occasional requirement to work outside of standard hours

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $22.99 to $25.29 per hour. Benefits include paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and additional perks.
