Facilities Technician

The Facilities Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of Williams County's properties, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, while replenishing necessary supplies
  • Executing floor maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and applying wax
  • Managing waste disposal by emptying and sanitizing trash containers, and maintaining break areas
  • Carrying out general maintenance duties such as painting, replacing light fixtures, and rearranging furniture
  • Overseeing the upkeep of outdoor spaces, including lawn maintenance and snow clearance
  • Identifying and reporting safety issues to the supervising authority
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background
  • A minimum of one year of experience in maintenance or custodial work
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License

Work Environment:
  • Outdoor tasks with potential exposure to varying weather conditions
  • Working in proximity to mechanical, industrial, and electrical systems

Compensation: Starting hourly wage ranges from $22.99 to $25.29. Benefits package includes paid time off, health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and additional perks.
