Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at JMAC Resources. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • System Installation: Install new electrical systems and equipment according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on electrical systems to prevent issues and ensure reliability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members to complete projects and tasks.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Mathematical Skills: Possess good mathematical skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to assess situations and come up with solutions under the guidance of the Supervisor.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems, including blueprint reading and interpreting schematics.
  • Additional Requirements: Valid US issued driver's license with a good driving record, ability to work safely in all types of weather, and timely and regular attendance.

The Electrical Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced industrial environment, with regular exposure to electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
