We maintain an extensive inventory of wire and cable products utilized across various markets, including power transmission & distribution, substations, solar, wind, battery energy storage (BESS), and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure.
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented individual to join our expanding sales team. The Inside Sales Representative will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by preparing customer quotations and bid documents, processing customer requests, and providing technical support. This role is vital in fostering and solidifying relationships with our customer base through the quality of work delivered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various administrative tasks within the sales team, ensuring organization and attention to detail.
- Assist in creating customer quotations and bid proposals.
- Support the sales process by helping to close sales and meet quarterly targets.
- Maintain and grow existing business relationships while exceeding sales goals set by management.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding products and their applications.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and customers to foster trust and loyalty.
- Occasionally reach out to prospective and current customers through cold calls and emails.
- Deliver excellent customer service, including order status updates and quote follow-ups.
- Gather and report competitive information and pricing.
- Assist senior management with various tasks and projects as needed.
- Support the project team with data entry and extraction tasks.
- Help the sales team with processing customer and vendor documents.
- Retrieve and summarize information from records and other documentation as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with excellent negotiation and customer service abilities.
- Prior experience in customer service is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented and goal-driven with a proven ability to meet targets.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Able to collaborate effectively with Sales Managers and team members.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data reporting and quotations.
- Bi-lingual or bi-literate in Spanish is a plus.
