Job Overview

This is a full-time Medical Receptionist position responsible for managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, and handling referrals. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to multitask, and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, responding to emails, and resolving patient concerns.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Schedule appointments, manage waitlists, and ensure timely follow-up with patients.
  • Referral Management: Obtain and verify referrals, communicate with referring physicians, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
  • Medical Office Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in a cardiology or primary care environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs), practice management systems, and other software applications used in a medical office setting.
