Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year

Job Description: This position involves working closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and develop innovative solutions to complex clinical problems. You will participate in quality improvement initiatives, conduct medication use evaluations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practice guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement medication use evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Conduct training sessions for healthcare staff on medication management best practices.
  • Assist with research projects and publications related to medication safety and optimization.
  • Advise on the development of formulary and therapeutic guidelines.
  • Engage with patients and families to educate them on medication-related topics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Alabama.
  • Controlled Substances certificate.
  • IV certification within three months of employment.
