Job Description

As a Medical Unit Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient flow and providing administrative support to our healthcare team. Your duties will include:

  • Processing requests and orders during computer downtime;
  • Checking unit census and updating condition codes;
  • Entering patient charges on a daily basis;
  • Preparing unit admission packs;
  • Communicating with patients, families, and healthcare teams in person and via telephone;

You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in hospital information systems.
