We are currently looking for a Control Systems Automation Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement Discrete, Continuous, and Batch Control Systems.
  • Specify and select Process Transmitters, Analytical Instruments, Control Valves, Motors, and VFDs.
  • Choose and specify PLC, HMI, and SCADA system hardware and software.
  • Program using IEC 61131 Programming Languages (Ladder, Sequential Functions, Function Blocks, Structured Text); familiarity with Visual Basic is advantageous.
  • Conduct Loop Tuning and HMI Design following ISA-101 standards.
  • Oversee the specification and installation of Computer Hardware, Virtualization, Networking, and Server/Client configurations.
  • Design OT/IT Communications Infrastructure and Fieldbus networking (Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, etc.).
  • Ensure System Reliability & Safety, including Redundancy Design; experience with HAZOPs and Safety Instrumented Systems is a plus.
  • Implement Cybersecurity measures.
  • Produce and modify project deliverables such as Process Flow Diagrams, Instrument Lists, and Control Panel Layouts.
  • Engage in cost estimation and proposal development.
  • Manage projects and develop scopes.
  • Coordinate system checkout and startup activities.
  • Provide training for end-users and maintenance personnel.
Qualifications:
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in automation and control systems within various industries.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Allen-Bradley/Modicon PLC/HMI programming platforms.
  • Understanding of Databases and Analytics.
