The Relationship Manager is a key member of the United Way of Central New York team, responsible for developing and executing strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and community partners. This role requires a unique blend of fundraising, community engagement, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Fundraising: Set and achieve annual fundraising goals for the Women's Initiative and Stay United affinity groups, focusing on donor acquisition, retention, growth, and engagement.
- Donor Engagement and Stewardship: Design and implement innovative strategies to optimize donor experiences, including events, programs, and communication initiatives that promote engagement and inspire donors to be part of the United Way movement.
- Volunteer Management: Manage the Women's Initiative and Stay United affinity group committees and volunteer leadership structures, providing guidance, strategies, and data-driven analysis to volunteers, and overseeing monthly committee meetings.
- Constituent Relationships: Work with the United Way of Central New York Mission and Strategy team to identify, develop, and implement opportunities that communicate community impact, goals, and priorities to constituents.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, community engagement, and leadership, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
