Key Responsibilities
  • Branch Management: Manage the overall branch office operation, including profitability, customer service, and employee development.
  • Business Development: Direct and implement business development activities, such as prospecting and relationship-building with key clients.
  • Customer Relations: Represent the financial institution to the community through excellent customer relations and service.
  • Performance Management: Establish and help to attain internal performance objectives for branch office business volume, deposits, and loan portfolios.
  • Loan Management: Manage large or complex commercial loans, analyze and screen loan requests, and present requests to management if proposed loan is beyond lending authority.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, with experience overseeing multiple lenders.
  • Skills: Excellent management skills, strong background in financial institution operating policies and procedures, banking regulations, employee development, and public relations; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
