Patient Service Representative

As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and obtain accurate and updated patient information.
- Perform insurance verification and file and maintain medical records.
- Confirm and schedule appointments, and answer telephone calls promptly and courteously.
- Collect co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of service.
- Perform referral documentation and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
- 1+ years of experience working within a medical front office position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software.
- Proficient in typing, 50-60 wpm and Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience and knowledge with medical terminology.
