Patient Service Representative

As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and obtain accurate and updated patient information.
  • Perform insurance verification and file and maintain medical records.
  • Confirm and schedule appointments, and answer telephone calls promptly and courteously.
  • Collect co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of service.
  • Perform referral documentation and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
  • 1+ years of experience working within a medical front office position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software.
  • Proficient in typing, 50-60 wpm and Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience and knowledge with medical terminology.
