Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team at the Carmel Care Center in Carmel, IN. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets patients and visitors, and assists and directs them accordingly.
  • Answers telephone calls and routes them appropriately.
  • Explains financial requirements to patients and collects and records copays as required.
  • Performs registration functions for new and existing patients.
  • Schedules patient appointments and finalizes patient schedules for the previous day.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding all patients.
  • Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies through HIPAA compliance.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week.
