Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a Patient Service Representative to join our team at the Carmel Care Center in Carmel, IN. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Greets patients and visitors, and assists and directs them accordingly.
- Answers telephone calls and routes them appropriately.
- Explains financial requirements to patients and collects and records copays as required.
- Performs registration functions for new and existing patients.
- Schedules patient appointments and finalizes patient schedules for the previous day.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding all patients.
- Adheres to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies through HIPAA compliance.
- High School Diploma/GED is required.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
