Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Community Health Network. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare providers and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check patients in for appointments and collect payments
  • Answer telephones and take accurate messages
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals
  • Verify and update patient demographic information in our electronic medical record system
  • Post and balance payments collected
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment or 2 years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Experience with electronic medical records preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Intranet and Internet usage, Excel, Word, email, and web-based applications
