About the Role

Aon is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Captive & Insurance Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting of a portfolio of insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial statements for a portfolio of diverse accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Prepare regulatory filings and premium tax returns, ensuring timely submission and accuracy.
  • Support and collate key financial information for captive audits and examinations.
  • Oversee cash management for assigned portfolio, ensuring efficient and effective management.
  • Reconcile loss and investment report data, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Experience in preparing financial statements with GAAP or related experiences.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Experience managing several projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Bachelor of Accounting/Finance/Business Administration degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
  • Effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with strong interpersonal skills.
