Key Responsibilities:
- Execute various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, as requested by physicians.
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Properly position patients and select suitable imaging techniques for optimal results.
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Evaluate and ensure the quality and accuracy of imaging results.
Requirements:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
- State licensure in Connecticut or the ability to obtain it.
- Previous experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist is preferred but not required.
- Solid understanding of radiologic safety standards and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
