Responsibilities

As a Radiologic Imaging Assistant, you will assist the Radiologic Technologist with the performance of a variety of technical and clerical duties. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintains an orderly and clean work environment.
• Prepares the diagnostic room with necessary supplies and equipment for the diagnostic procedure.
• Performs clerical duties as necessary for all diagnostic procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Communicates in a clear and concise manner.
• Interacts professionally and effectively with medical staff, patients and families.
• Assists the technologist with patient care responsibilities.
• Transports patients to and from the radiographic procedure room.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Sends for patient when directed by technologist.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent. Experience is not required for this role.
