Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Orthopaedic Specialty Group, P.C. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Escort patients to and from the x-ray room, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate x-ray equipment to capture high-quality images, following strict radiation safety protocols.
  • Set up studies on digital imaging CR and DR units, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
  • Schedule, document, and coordinate out-patient ultrasounds, as directed by physicians.
  • Provide patients with CDs of their images, as requested.
  • Report any issues with CR and DR units to the supervisor, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Notify the supervisor when supplies are low, maintaining a well-stocked and organized work area.
Requirements
  • Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program and American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry.
  • Connecticut Radiography license required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional travel to our multiple office locations.
  • Experience in Orthopedics and with both CR/DR imaging is a plus.
