Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Orthopaedic Specialty Group, P.C. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Escort patients to and from the x-ray room, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Operate x-ray equipment, taking high-quality images as directed by ordering physicians.
  • Set up studies on digital imaging CR and DR units, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging processes.
  • Schedule, document, and coordinate out-patient ultrasounds, as required.
  • Provide patients with CDs of their images, as requested.
  • Report any issues with CR and DR units to the supervisor, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Notify the supervisor when supplies are low, maintaining a well-stocked and organized work environment.
  • Participate in cross-training on reception duties, enhancing the team's overall efficiency.
Requirements
  • Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program and American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry.
  • Connecticut Radiography license required.
  • Flexibility with weekly work schedules and willingness to travel to our 4 OSG OrthoFast offices (Milford, Fairfield, Monroe, Shelton).
  • New graduates welcome to apply.
  • Experience in Orthopedics and both CR/DR imaging preferred.
