Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a CT Scanner Specialist. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating complex CT equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners with exceptional competence, selecting and establishing technical factors for optimal diagnostic quality.
  • Work with IT and CT engineers to ensure efficient RIS/PACS software and hardware integration.
  • Monitor CT system performance, identify service needs, and schedule maintenance with vendors.
  • Communicate protocols, obtain agreement, and deliver images according to physician preferences.
  • Screen patients according to contrast guidelines, analyze requests, and recommend actions to physicians.
  • Demonstrate respect and regard for patients, family, visitors, and employees, contributing to a professional environment.
  • Promote effective working relationships, fostering collaboration, teamwork, and mutual respect.

Requirements:

  • Superior knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, CT technology, and procedures, including 3D reconstruction.
  • Commitment to excellence in patient care and exceptional customer service.
  • Extensive computer background, strong application understanding, and RIS/PACS software knowledge.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • College degree preferred.
  • ARRT (RT)(R) and CT State License required.
  • CT Certification required.
