Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Bridgeport, CT. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Unload portable X-ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician. Must obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images.
  • Perform EKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation (if required).
  • Scan exam-related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
  • Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
  • Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
  • Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment.

Requirements:

  • ARRT, current
  • X-ray licensures for Connecticut
  • Flexibility in work hours to meet the needs of the clients
  • Connecticut RT License and VA/WV licenses are a plus but not required, and a limited license is not accepted

Benefits:

  • Hourly Pay: $28
  • Full Time: Monday - Friday 11 am - 7:30 pm
  • Part-Time: Friday - Sunday 8 am - 9 pm (with rotating weekends, on-call, holidays, etc.)
  • Weekend Requirements: Based on caseload - will constitute overtime if needed
  • On-Call Requirements: Yes - discussed at interview
  • Possible Relocation: Yes - discussed at the interview
  • State Licensure Reimbursement: Yes - after 90 days of employment
