Job Overview:

We are in search of a highly proficient and seasoned Lead PHP and JavaScript Engineer to become a vital part of our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in crafting custom WordPress themes and plugins, alongside expertise in React for developing modern, responsive front-end solutions. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Develop responsive and interactive front-end solutions utilizing React.
  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and fellow developers to produce high-quality web applications.
  • Enhance website performance and ensure compatibility across various browsers.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in existing projects.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our solutions at the forefront.
  • Engage in code reviews and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our development practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP and JavaScript development.
  • Extensive experience with WordPress, including custom theme and plugin creation.
  • Proficiency in React and contemporary front-end development methodologies.
  • Strong grasp of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with additional JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., Angular).
  • Knowledge of modern build tools and workflows (e.g., esbuild, Webpack, Babel, npm).
  • Experience with automated testing and continuous integration.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal portfolio.
