Position Summary
As a Dental Care Specialist at ProSmile, you can expect:
- A strong emphasis on treatment planning and practice philosophy based on Dental Quality Alliance and Institute of Medicine Principles of Optimal Dental Care
- Opportunities to treat a socioeconomically diverse patient population, with a focus on access to care and acceptance of most dental insurances

Key Responsibilities
The clinical duties of a Dental Care Specialist include:
- Working with clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care
- Following standard dentistry procedures and complying with company policies
- Referencing patients to appropriate specialists as needed
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and techniques in the dental field
- Exhibiting excellent interpersonal skills to maintain effective relationships with patients, other dentists, office managers, and staff members
Requirements
To be successful as a Dental Care Specialist at ProSmile, you will need:
- A DDS/DMD license
Work Environment
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and using hands and arms to operate general office equipment. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move between 10 and 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee may need to travel to healthcare practices.
The work environment is typically low to moderate noise level. ProSmile reserves the right to modify the job description based on its needs and may require the employee to perform functions beyond those mentioned above.
