We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Spiritual Care Specialist to join our team at Heartland Hospice. As a Spiritual Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual support and care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement spiritual care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide direct spiritual support, counseling, and prayer to patients and families as needed.
- Assist in training and education on spiritual care for hospice staff, volunteers, and community leaders.
- Serve as a liaison and resource for community spiritual leaders in dealing with hospice patients and families.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in theology, religion, human services, counseling, psychology, or sociology.
- One unit of Association of Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. (ACPE)-accredited CPE.
- Two years of active work in spiritual care ministry or program, with demonstrated ability to work with patients, families, and community spiritual leaders of various denominations and beliefs.
