Job Summary

The Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist is a vital member of the Care and Help Home Care team, responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent to support our mission of providing exceptional care services to individuals in their homes or other independent living environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment:
    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles within the organization.
    • Source candidates through various channels, including job fairs, career centers, and online platforms.
    • Screen and interview candidates using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure the best fit for our organization.
    • Communicate job details, compensation, and benefits to candidates.
  • Onboarding:
    • Prepare and ensure compliance with new hire paperwork, including legislative requirements.
    • Conduct thorough reference investigations to inform hiring decisions.
    • Maintain and ensure compliance with equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
    • Oversee the new hire onboarding process, verifying completion of orientation and scheduling first assignments.
    • Ensure accurate and compliant record-keeping, including I-9, E-Verify, state and federal background checks, licensing, and certification.
  • Job Requirements:
    • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to establish and follow workflows in a metric-driven environment.
    • Proactive and independent, with a strong ability to take initiative.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • 1 year of proven administrative and customer service experience.
    • Strong understanding of business English and office practices.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft programs.
Work Environment:
  • Position based in a Care Center.
  • 10% travel may be required.
