Counselor Advocate Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor Advocate Specialist to join our team at the Helen Ross McNabb Center. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals in need.
Key Responsibilities- Provide information and referral services to clients, connecting them with resources and agencies that can help them achieve their goals.
- Offer advocacy and support to clients, helping them navigate complex systems and make informed decisions.
- Conduct home visits and follow-up services to ensure clients receive the support they need.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans that address the unique needs of each client.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience working with clients in a clinical or support role is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
- A competitive salary range of $15.75-$16.70 per hour, depending on experience and education.
