We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our Cardiology team at Atlantic Health System. As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a critical role in promoting quality nursing care and advancing the field of cardiology.
Key Responsibilities- Advocate for nursing personnel, patients, and family members, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Support the development and implementation of policies and services that promote optimal healthcare environments.
- Collaborate with staff to identify and implement evidence-based interventions that improve patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Perform and evaluate interventions to ensure they are effective and aligned with patient needs.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, investigating and recommending improvements to supplies and capital equipment.
- Support regulatory compliance, including Joint Commission, DOH, and other agency visits.
- Master's degree in healthcare or a related field.
- Certification in Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN), Basic Life Sciences (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Valid state Nursing License.
