Key Responsibilities- Advocacy and Support: Advocate for nursing personnel, patients, and family members, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Policy and Service Development: Support the development and implementation of policies and services that promote patients' rights and optimal healthcare environments.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with staff to identify interventions that reflect current scientific knowledge and promote continuity of care.
- Evidence-Based Practice: Perform evidence-based interventions consistent with patient/family needs, evaluating their effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement.
- Performance Improvement: Participate in performance improvement activities related to your area of specialization and/or unit, investigating and evaluating opportunities for improvement.
- Regulatory Compliance: Support preparation for regulatory agency visits and implementation of policies, guidelines, and recommendations from regulatory bodies.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Education: Master's degree in healthcare or a related field.
- Certifications: Certification in Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN), Basic Life Sciences (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Licensure: Valid state Nursing License.
- Experience: 2-3 years of previous Clinical Specialist experience preferred.
